UPCOMING: Workshop

DAY OF WORKSHOP2013 headerInterested in the wedding planning industry and starting your own business? Maybe you’ve already started your wedding planning business and looking for more training and answers.

In my years of teaching the Wedding Planner Certification Course at Cal Poly Pomona, I’m asked frequently to provide more training specifically on the actual day of the wedding. Many new planners want to focus just on running the last few weeks of planning. Many DJs, Photographers and even DIY Brides have asked about this training as well. This is for anyone looking to gain more insight and detailed training.

The Day of Wedding Workshop is a unique learning experience created just for you, focusing specifically on the day of the wedding. Join us on April 27 for a day of learning, guidance, and networking with other potential planners or established planners. We will be holding the one day workshop in our LOFT in the Downtown Pomona’s historic Arts Colony.

Editorial Portraiture Photography Class

JMP Artistry

Three-to-Four Hour Editorial Portraiture Photography Class

“Shoot!” If that’s what you catch yourself shouting every time you look at the results of your latest photography endeavor, it’s time to learn how to shoot properly with today’s deal from JMP Artistry. Spend $69 (regularly $350) for an editorial portraiture class. Offered two weekends a month, this three- to four-hour class takes place at The Loft — a 1,900 square-foot historic structure in the heart of downtown Pomona’s Art District with high ceilings, exposed brick, and stunning views of Mt. Baldy. You’ll learn the basic techniques of proper lighting, adjusting the ISO, the rule of thirds, and beyond. After taking artistic shots of three live models in the indoor space, you’ll tour the Art District with the models and learn how to use architecture and natural elements to create powerful images. Now that’s a shot worth taking.
